Year one of our last business, we built things. Year two, we ran them. By month eight of year two, the running was eating the building. We had a WooCommerce store, a handful of suppliers, customers in eleven countries, and a founder who hadn't shipped product in a quarter because he was triaging the inbox.
So we tried the AI tools. ChatGPT — context window resets every conversation. Custom GPTs — fine for one task, but our business has 40 tasks. The "agent" tools — demoware that fell apart the moment we plugged them into our actual systems. The frontier model labs had built brilliant brains. Nobody had built the operating system that lets a business actually run on them.
So we built it. Started with our own ops. Iterated on what an operator actually needs — memory that survives Mondays, real execution against real APIs, audit trail your CFO trusts, governance that lets you sleep. By the time we had it working for our own store, three of our friends asked if they could use it.
Today, we're in private beta with a small group of operators — ecommerce stores, agencies, sales teams, and a couple of regulated-industry pilots. We're being deliberate about scaling — every customer gets a founder on their onboarding call. Quality over speed.
